Practicing To Be A Paleontologist

Paleontologists study dinosaur bones.  The students pretended that the chocolate chip cookies were dinosaurs.  The chips in the cookies were dinosaur bones.  To replicate the tools used by a Paleontologist each student had tooth picks.  They enjoyed extracting the chocolate from the cookie as if they were dinosaur bones.  We may have a future paleontologist in the classroom.  This activity was based on the book Pre-Historic Pinkerton.
